You are pregnant [unprotected sex] [5 months]
I had a question. Ive been married for two years and I really want to try for a baby. My husband is not ready yet. Two nights ago we had unprotected sex. I went off the pill 5 months ago so we did not use anything. I guess that was my first time yesterday. Is it possible to become pregnant, which is close to your period? My husband says that if it happens it happens. I was not sure how likely it was or not. Any response is greatly appreciated.

Reply:It all depends on when you ovulate….but a woman can ovulate at any time in her cycle. I once heard that a woman is most fertile in the 17 and 18 days of her cycle…right before her period. I ahve also heard that some woman are the most fertile during their period!! Some woman go by the rythmn method, but they really know their bodies.
So in essence….there is a possibility!
