I am 10 weeks and 2 days and I was wondering if this morning sickness goes away. I get crazy.

Reply:I had morning sickness until I was about 15 weeks and then one day I just didn't get sick- and never did again. I had taken Zofran the day before the m/s stopped (the one and only time I took it) and I doubt that has anything to do with it stopping but it is an odd coincedence. But like the other ladies have said, it is different with everyone. But I too hope that yours stops soon, I personally think that m/s is the absolute worst symptom to have and my heart goes out to all ladies with it!

Reply:With my 1st child I had very mild morning sickness. It started at around 6 weeks or so, and continued for a few weeks. I never actually vomited.
My 2nd child……..started at about 6 weeks as well………and continued on throughout my entire pregnancy right into the delivery room. I had a bucket next to my bed that I had to use during my labor.

Reply:Mine started at 7 weeks and started to ease at around 14 weeks. By 16 weeks it was gone. Now at 23 weeks I have felt a few days of nausea but not even close to what it was in my first trimester.

Reply:I am 16 weeks and still have bouts of nausea and vomiting, mainly at night. I thought by now it would have gone away completely, but it's still here…………. it does vary with every person. I've heard the "average" time that it starts to subside is between 12 and 16 weeks (I think that's right) but some women have it the whole time.

Reply:Mine started at 12 weeks to the day and didn't stop… I even threw up in labor (but that's common). It was miserable. Mine happened throughout the day and even in the middle of the night. I had to sleep with a bowl, b/c I didn't have any warning. I would sit up and throw up. Not good! Talk about going crazy! I hope it goes away soon, as I wouldn't wish that on anyone!

Reply:It really depends on the person. My friend had morning sickness from 5 weeks to 40 weeks, I kid you not! I didn't have any morning sickness at all. It seems like most women's morning sickness stops by 14 weeks but I wouldn't count on this, just in case you have it for longer.

Reply:Not all women are the same. Mine started to minimize around 10 weeks and was pretty much gone before I hit 12 weeks.
Some women have none and some have it thier entire pregnancy.
