When did you first feel the baby move? [lower abdomen] [baby move]

Hi Ladies:
Im 20w5d and still feel the . She looks great on u / s and the HB is always solid. I feel little aches here and there probably ligament stretch (it is either much higher or the above my belly button), but none of the fluttering sensations I hear about. My OB said it was not unusual for the first movement at 22 weeks – esp w feel / first pregnancy . but was just wondering because I have seen some women report feeling their earlier

Thanks ~
P.

Reply:With my first baby I felt the "bumps" against my lower ab at 17.5 weeks. This time I started feeling them at 16 weeks. Iam now 17.5 weeks and I feel it all the time. My husband can even feel a few bumps now when I have him press on my abdomen when I feel it bumping around.

Reply:PJ I am now 36 weeks and I didn't feel him until I was 21 or 22 wks, I have it marked on the calendar. At first it kinda was like bubbles popping, then as the days go by they get stronger and stronger and more often. Don't worry!

Reply:I started feeling my just a few days back and i am now 23 weeks. I could see the during the u/s sound but not otherwise. My doc told me that my placenta is on my belly button and becoz of which i am not able to feel him. Also she said that once the baby starts weighing around a pound i will be able to feel him. Now i feel his kicks very often and so can my hubby.
I am sure you will start feeling your baby very soon now!

Reply:I'm 18 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I've been feeling my for 2 weeks now, but every woman is different. It depends on if you've had kids before, and how much you weigh. If you're overweight, you probably won't feel the baby until later. I'm really skinny, and generally skinny women feel their babies earlier. I bet you will feel your baby soon, don't worry!! :)
