What do cervical exams feel? [cervix]
I go every week from this Thursday (35 weeks along) andf they will start checking my cervix every visit. Does this hurt? Is there a chance that it starts labor market by simply shaking my intestines?

Reply:I don't think they can sweep your membranes unless you're at least a little dilated.

Reply:it deffinitely depends who does it. I had one nurse in the hospital who KILLED when she did it. Other times it was fine. My dr it felt uncomfortable, but nothing bad.
