Week 38 and large pieces of mucus [mucus plug] [cervical mucus]
Hello everyone,
I completed 38 weeks today. For the last week or so, I still have large amounts of cervical mucus, usually white discharge (sorry for TMI). I was 2 cm opening last week. I asked the doctor abt my mucus plug and she said there was no mucus plug and losing a mucus plug must admit anything.
Anyone go thorugh similar problems? I often BHS, but not consistent enough yet. I want to ensure that the baby is fine and not susceptible to an infection. I am afraid I can not break the water to achieve. I tested positive for Strep B. So. just want to make sure I get medicines and antibiotics at the right time for the start of labor.

Reply:If it was amniotic fluid that was leaking you would notice differences in how it leaked when you were lying down vs. standing up. And it wouldn't be thick, it would be more like water.
