Do not listen to horror stories! [horror stories] [pitocin]

Shayleigh Rae was born on August 30 and she is perfect! I was induced my labor and delivery and were soooo easy compared to the horror stories I had told.Everyone is different! My doctor gave me an epidural before they started the pitocin and I do not feel that cutting! I pushed for about 1 hours, if that! She is beautiful with lots of dark hair like her daddy! Let your people to scare, work is for everyone else! Its a personal choice, but for me the epidural was great ! : Wave:

David Taylor is here! [80 effaced] [pitocin]

David Taylor was born on May 23 at 13:27. He weighed 6 pounds 7 grams and was 18 inches long. I was not up to 06-06, but my doctor induced me because my blood pressure was a bit high. At 34 weeks, I was already dilated to 2 cm 80% effaced, and contracting regularly. By the time I went for my induction, I was 4 cm dilation. We went in at 6 in the morning and around 7:30, they started the pitocin. My doctor arrived around 8:15 to break my water. I decided to go and get my epidural because I was al

Anyone refusing induction and choose section? [pitocin] [heart condition]

I am 38 weeks pregnant and my doctor said he would not let me go over due. I can tolerate pain pretty well but my heart can not. I have a heart condition and have been told that the pain will aggrivate during childbirth and so will be getting an epidural when I went to the hospital. Now he wants to induce me they willobviously pitocin use. I prefer a C-section and feel that I should get a one sheduled in the first place. Nevertheless, my question is can I think I do this. Can I refuse to get pit

How did you know it was time? [pitocin] [babies]

I am a bit nervous about this sure I am “in the labor market. “I was the first time induced – as Ive never had” its time “experience. I was thinking that surely my water would break and then I would know for sure, but I really do not want my husband to deliver Twin A . And my first baby was fast once they got the pitocin in me and they have to keep telling me that the second twin babies have a faster and faster still (I fear a kind of sleigh ride or something LOL).

induction at 39 weeks [emergency c section] [pitocin]

My doctor told me that I will either be induced or a C-section 15-05. I have a feeling that we will be a Friday the 13th baby is. Anyway, if you are induced at 39 weeks and say, 2 days, there is less likelihood of an emergency c-section and needed pitocin will be less intense because I only a few days away from 40 weeks?

(My doctor said she would not perform c-sections through the 39th week. Is that normal? I thought it had to be done at 38?)
