Hi everyone, finally I have my booking in visit was home with my midwife today for my third baby and she could not hear the babys heartbeat, she said not to worry because the baby is small at the moment, but I am sure with my son, they heard his heartbeat at 11 weeks. Because I have been a miscarriage so I am a bit concerned I have another test that was positive def PREG unlike my first two at first only faintly. My scan is booked for 2 weeks time, so I try not to worry, but I am a bit anxious.

Hello everyone. I just got back from seeing my doc. I am currently 29 weeks. She told me I should take magnesium twice a day to prevent contractions. The thing is my midwife said magnesium is not good for the baby and should be taken only when needed. Its not like I had contractions so far. Ive not felt Braxton Hicks contractions.

Does nobody knows anything about taking magnesium during pregnancy and when needed? Has anyone here ever been told to take? Any info would be great . Thank

I went to the midwife yesterday and I originally posted as it was worth mentioning that scale I weighed 6 pounds heavier than I really am. She adjusted my weight on their scale, so I only 3 pounds not gained 7-8 pounds. I gave them a pre-preggo weight of 108 and she weighed me at 114, it was gone. Im glad they changed, because it was about an eyebrow about the weight gain to draw ! : D

Today I had my fourteen weeks control. My midwife was not the babys heart rate and u / s tech was and had no appt she told me you have a / s. Lucky for me that the baby has not participated in the visit, so I can have a / s and a look at him! It is a boy.Im glad I got to husband.We every little part to see so clearly was amazing. I live in the UK and everyone who lives here, when your baby is born to you for regular doctors appointments with ur new arrival to attend if you can a midwife / doc to come to you and check up on to get the baby?
I know it sounds stupid, but I really do not like the doctors surgery and if its me go I can handle on my own, but Id hate for all silly about having to go there regularly when I get a baby , its ok if someone comes along with me, but i cannot always depend on ot

I am now five days overdue and the baby is still at a -3 station. It was there five weeks ago and has not fallen further. It is also the wrong way round – with her back to my back instead of facing my back. The midwife thinks that if the baby turns around the right way to fully engage in and that could help start labor. I am 25 weeks along and I started getting these contractions between 15-17 weeks. Arent they are strong, Ive only had two or three very strong person who had me curl up.
