Well I got the news from my Dr. Im not past the three hours glucose testing. I was wondering who this is. How do you cope? Did you get it causes obesity? What do you eat? I have so many questions I do not know where to start. I will be attending a diabetes class for next week, but I would like to know what to expect.

I am 26 weeks. I had the glucose drink and drink c got a call back that my blood sugar level was very high. They want me to come back and fast, blood samples and then a glucose drink and take it more blood.

Is normal procedure? I wonder if they suspect that I am the type 2 diabetes and all this testing me because that was well.

Hi, Im about 20 weeks along and now I know I just AB testing to approximately 27-28 weeks of pregnancy .( as I like in my last pregnancy), but I think I may need to speed up testing, Heres why .

* fatiuge-i still seem to be tired a lot is the second trimester
* shakys-I am constantly shaking (in my hands) people ask me all the time if I . ok!
* Sometimes Im so thirsty, this isnt all the time, but sometimes Id swear that one liter of water in 2 miniutes .

I have a question, Im about 20 weeks and my midwife sening me to another office to get tested for diabetes gestatinal, Im not surprised, I know it is now standard with one days, which I am surprised is that I remain in office for 5 hours! I also had all the blood taken from me and now they send me to another office . weird?

I need to get a glucose monitor this week for gestational diabetes. I think I am going today as possible.

I understand that one (ugly?) Sweet drinks and wait one hour and get the blood drawn.

How big is this drink? Ordinary glass (12 oz)? Bigger? Tumbler-size (8 oz)?

I hope I do not get more sick (and “burpy”) then I always thought this!

Also, about GD – is it true that you can possibly notice any symptoms if you have it?
