Hello, Im just back from an appt perinatal and worry about something. I had an u / s at about 7 weeks in the ER to rule out ectopic pregnancy and the report indicated there was a complex cyst on right ovary. My midwife told me that this was probably a cyst and corpus luteum was necessary to support pregnancy. She did not seem at all concerned. However, the peri that I (for reasons unrelated saw the cyst), called for a follow up u / s to check on. She said there was blood on his (or, Im not sure)

Thanks for your info on the corpus luteum cyst. If you said you thought that with a miscarriage, was in pain or bleeding. I was in great pain last night, and now my hips hurt. Im not bleeding, but was wondering what this cyst is doing. Thanks for your help.

PS I too have PCOS diagnosed 12-99
