Hi everyone, I just did a blood test to see if I am pregnant, I was just wondering, how accurate are they? My Dr. said they are very accurate, has anyone had problems with them? Thank you.

Yesterday I had my first appointment. My husband came, and was in the room for questions, the (vaginal) ultrasound, blood tests, etc. During my exam (pelvic, breast, pap) the doctor asked if he would leave or stay. I said he was leaving. I recently had a blood test to see if I am pregnant. The results said I had traces of the pregnancy hormone in my blood, but not enough to be accurate and that I be retested in one week? Is it even possible to have the pregnancy hormone without pregnant? How can this be? Any info would be appreciated?

I took a HPT yesterday and BFN. My last AF was May 18th, so it would be 27 days since last AF. But my AFs are a kind of irregular, they are never at the same time is sometimes 27, 30, 35 etc. So should I wait until about 40 days to see. I have a feeling that I am, but I do not want to waste money on HPT 10. Does anyone know how long you need for a blood test. I would think the easiest way to go. Thanks

Hey guys! Im about 12 weeks PREG. and my doctor told me to thinking about whether / not I would triscreen or a quad screen blood test taken within a few weeks like. I have not really done a research on this yet, but he says that it is useful to find certain abnormalities in the fetus? Can anyone tell me more about this?
