Question about mucus plug? [mucus plug] [thanks in advance]

How close to delivery do you lose your mucus plug? Ive heard that it may be a few weeks? And do you lose everything at once or slowly? I am 34 weeks and have noticed a mucus like discharge every time I use the toilet? Thanks in advance!

Reply:I noticed alot of mucus and it freaked me out, so I went to the er, and I had lost my mucus plug, I was dialited to 3, and was only 24 weeks preg. I went on to deliver at 38 weeks, so you can loose it a long time before delivery.
