Pregnancy Test Question [pregnancy test] [minus sign]
I need some advice please. I bought a pregnancy test equivalent of Walmart and took it today and the result was a little off. It is assumed a plus sign in front of the pregnant and a little for it, also there was a minus yes, but just below the bottom of the circular test area there is a horizontal line. There is 2 lines, both horizontal and then in a separate window, there is another line indicating the test worked. So Im not sure what to do. I called the toll free number, but they were not much to help me at all. Im just looking for some opinions and maybe someone has a similar situation and can shed some light for me. Thanks in advance. My cycles are not very regular so Im not really sure if Im late or not, but Im “supposed” to be due for AF tomorrow.

Reply:Yeah I took dollar store tests too, and it did take longer for the positive lines to show up. On my First Response it showed up immediately, but on the dollar store it took almost the entire 10 minutes. As I got a little further along they showed up in less time though.

Reply:That happened tp my dollar store test. It looked loke nothing at first and as time went on it got darker!!!!!!

Reply:i agree, with 2 of my three pregnancys i used doller tree tests, they came up positive, i will tell you this now, let the test sit for afew mins what may look like your mind is playin trix on you could be a very faint line at first, give it time to clear up. id hate for you to think you were not, then to see the test in the trash later and realize it was positive…lol

Reply:I agree with Megss. I think you should try a different brand too. Dollar Store brand tests are very accurate, and are only a buck a piece. That is what I used and I am now 9 weeks along. Plus, you can pick up a handful for what you spend on even the Walmart brand. Good luck!:)

Reply:It sounds like the test malfunctioned. Do you have another one? I would try another one with first morning urine tomorrow.
