July / August u0026 Mommies Babies [hello ladies] [mommies]
Hello Ladies! Sorry we so lately been outta touch. Val is getting used to Zoloft and its rough. She is still migraine and was sick with a virus, but better. We go to our docs appt tomorrow and hope to find out whether they move or not. Val is anxious to get this over with since she feels absolutely terrible most of the time. Her diabetes is fine and she was able to control with a diet for this whole pg feeling sick, but all the time, nausea, vomiting, migraine, and the rest were taken its toll.
I am well and trying to get house in order if I am not doing. I gave birth to and we must wash and put together now. Randa and Becca doing well and very happy that their brother is hopefully coming this week. At our last appt (1 1 / 2 weeks ago) was only dialated Val 1 / 2 inches, but Jack had dropped and was engaged. We had an ultrasound at 36 weeks (we will be 39 on Tuesday) and he has already weighed 6 pounds 4 ounces. Val starts to swell a bit in the evenings and sleep is almost impossible. I hope and pray that you all good and we can reconnect with each other through our posts. Congratulations to all new moms and babies ! Our love and prayers are with you!
Please update everyone as soon as you can. : Wave: Chris
Reply:Eyeore – I was just peeking in here and thought I'd tell you a cute story. I phoned a good friend of mine on day close to her due date, I got the machine and the message said "no, I am not in labour yet, there is no baby yet!!!! Leave a message". Just the sound of the frustration in her voice was kinda funny!
Reply:Hi everyone!!
Still here reading into every little thing my body does and hoping it's a sign labor is coming!
Well if I don't have her by Monday we will arrange for induction. So regardless of what happens I will have her within the next week!! But trying to convince myself to have a better attitude right now takes a lot.
I sooo know what you mean about people always asking about aren't you in labor yet?? I have been staying home to avoid people and fortunately I haven't had many calls. I know this will end even if it doesn't feel like it!
Wattagirl – I am so happy your little Emily is doing better!!!!!
Well it seems like it is a race to see who will be next!! Please let it be me!! :p

Reply:Hello well im still here with no new baby
still some contractions but it seems they have tapered off some.
I also get up im the mornings thinking man I really need to clean and do laundry ect.
But it just doesnt happen that way. with the little one always around my feet I cant even pee alone which is every 2 miniutes it seems like.
Its nice to know that everyone cares but sometimes it gets agravation when I get 100 calls a day asking if im in labor yet. do you all get these calls too?
hopefully soon.
Coppertop maybe you will hear good news about baby on tues(?) when you go back to the doctor. hopefully I will also.
Maybe they will just admit us both that day. lol wouldnt that be nice.
Reply:Hey everybody!
Wattagirl, I'm so glad to hear that little Emily is a happy camper now. Wow, I had no idea newborns could have zantac, guess you learn something every day!
Can't wait to hear about baby Jack's arrival.
Angel, I bet your feeling better after your doctor's appointment. Hopefully your doctors news helped you feel that your baby is going to be hear soon!
Eeyore, How are you doing? I don't think I've seen any posts from you in a while. Any more contractions?
As for me….My doctor called this morning and said that the uric acid went up again. Basically, if the baby was dropped down a little more than I would be getting induced on Monday. We decided to wait till my next appointment on Tues and see how things are.
Otherwise Im feeling pretty much like a bump on a log. I don't want to do anything but sit on the couch. Everyday I wake up with grand illusions of cleaning the house. However, by the time I get the boys fed and dressed and get myself a shower I don't feel like doing anything anymore
I'm sure some of you can relate right??? ![]()
Reply:thanks angel-i took emily to another pediatrician today and she said she has acid reflux-gave me zantac for her and told me to put cereal in her bottle-i have had a very happy baby today-hope this continues

Chris (Val) we await your wonderful news of Jack's arrival!!!
Coppertop – I can sooo relate to you!! Other people keep making those kind of comments to me too!!! It mostly gets me real emotional and then I get ticked off!!
So I have been trying to stay home as much as possible these days!! But we are getting there and will soon be done with those comments only to move on to "advice" on how to raise our children!
Wattagirl – I am sooo sorry to hear you have been having problems with Emily!!!
I pray you can get something solved there so it's not so difficult!! Thanks for checking in too!!! I don't think we should lose touch even after we all have our babies!! We need the communication and support of everyone!!!

Reply:Hi Chris!
Its nice to hear from you. I hope to hear baby news from you guys soon, sounds like it has been a tough pregnancy for Val. I'm kind of surprised they didn't induce already, I thought they usually induce early with diabetic moms.
I finally packed my bag today! I don't think I will be needing it TOO soon, but I was tired of stressing over it so I figured I mine as well get it done.
My baby has dropped and I am feeling MUCH better. The rib aches are completely gone and if it wasn't for the insomnia I could actually get a good nights sleep.
I dread these last few weeks of being pregnant. Not because i'm really uncomfortable but I just get so tired of other people's comments!!! "how much longer?", "you still haven't had that baby yet?", "when are you going to pop already?" ect, ect…
A person can only hear them so many times before they go crazy
