Horrible hip and lower back pain [lower back pain] [hips]
I am 30 weeks pregnant and Ive seen this really bad hip and lower back pain since about 3 months into my second pregnancy. I also had my first pregnancy two years ago. If Im not too much by the end of the day I can barely walk. In the morning when I try to get out of bed, its hard to even sit Fantastic. It almost feels like my hips are sometimes misplaced, as if they are locked or something. I was wondering if anyone has any of these symptoms, and if anyone knows what this could be. My doc sent me to PT, but it did not work so she now only has me on painkillers. I would like to make instead of stop relying on drugs that did not even disappear. Just the ebbs down to where I can get things done that I have to get done. Anyway, if anyone has a guide let me know. Thanks!
PS. It is not sciatic pain. It does not radiate down my leg. That one of the things that one of the nurses at my docs office kept insisting that it was. It feels like it in the bones and it is only in the hips and lower back. It kinda feels like the bones rub against each other or something.

Reply:This can't be normal. I know I had it with both pregnancy but this is nuts. My first wasn't as bad as this pregnancy. I think it's because I'm on my feet all the time and bending over. I stay at home with my daughter and stepson and I watch 2 other children so I am constantly on the move. I totally feel ya on the mornign thing and when I try to turn over in bed. Its excruciating. Also, by the end of the day if I sit down or lay down I just can't get back up. I wish there was something more I could do about this since it's really starting to affect everything in my life.

Reply:YES! I woke up this morning and was going to post on here about this!@ I was glad to see a post here already!
I am currently 26 weeks pregnant and my hips feel like they are trying to get out of my body! I have to sleep on my side, and if I stay on one side too long it is SOOO painful to turn over. The mornings are so bad! Now, mine is different if I keep moving. They are fine. I went shopping all day and they were ok until later after I sat down, then they ached. It is REALLY bad in the mornings.
This morning I could not walk to the bathroom without the help of my DH. He was smiling, thinking it was "cute", but I was in PAIN! I am thinking it is the hip spread that is inevitable.
