Can I ovulate? [mucus] [cramps]
Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone can help me here. Ive put on the pill about 4 years ago, because I was not ovulating. I stopped taking the pill about a month and half ago and have not had a period. Last week I colored a bit and then I had a pair of thick, dark slime. Since then I had cramps. I tried to contact a doctor, but they always take forever to return to me.

Reply:I actually just started bleeding very lightly, maybe I am getting a period ( i wish) but I know that I must see a doc I will make an appointment and see whats up. I can't stay this way in any case. My sister recently had the same thing and the doc told her that with every period the cyst fades away.

Reply:Hey Bella. Honey I can tell you that ovarian cyst are nothing to mess with. You have to get to a DR asap. I have PCOS and know how they can be. With my first one it was full of blood due to my family DR didn't know what he was doing and wouldn't send me to a specialist. Well when I first got to the DRs office they put me in the hospital that day and did surgery the next two days. They can be dangerous. When you have the cyst like that you are not ovulating. You try but the egg does not release. With the first cyst it was so full of blood it was starting to leak. If it would have burst before surgery I would have been full of blood interally that could have caused a life threatening infection. Please get them checked out. I don't want to scare you. Reply:Hi Nutshel, last night when I spoke to the doc she recommended me go to the hospital because I had no insurance and hopefully emergency medicaid would pay for the visit. In any case, I went and they told me I have an ovarian cyst. Usually you get that due to an egg that was not realeased (thats what I read). Does anyone know anything else about this? Does it mean that I am actually ovulating?
